Now that you are all set up with your affiliate programs, you may be wondering, what can I do to generate traffic to my affiliate links? There are many ways you can begin getting this traffic and in this article will be explaining a few of them to you.
Your best bet is to locate all your affiliate links all within the same niche and place a lot of the affiliate links on one website explaining what these links are linked to. The reasoning behind this is to save time as you will only need to promote your website instead of a lot of different links pointing to affiliate products. The website or web page itself can be something that is extremely simple, your goal is to simply list numerous affiliate products on one page to cut back on your advertising efforts.
Now it’s time to start marketing and promoting your site and you can start off by using article marketing. The reason this is so powerful is because not only will your articles be promoting your website, but at the bottom of every article you should have a link pointing back to your website which ends up building links that the search engines are going to index. When people type into a search engine, keywords or phrases, that match what is in your articles, they will show up on the search results along with a link back to your website! You’ll also want to make sure you choose the keywords for your articles very carefully as this is how people are going to be finding your website.
Ezines are email newsletters that people subscribe to on every topic imaginable. No matter what niche you are targeting you are going to be able to find Ezines on this subject. E Zine owners will sell advertising space in their newsletters and they will also allow you to purchase solo ads that will be sent to their subscribers. One thing I should point out is that when using E Zine advertising you will end up with better results by promoting a single affiliate link rather than your website.
Email marketing will be another great way for you to begin to promote your individual affiliate links to a lot of people. An e-mail list is something that is made up of a group of people who have agreed to receive emails on a certain topic. When it comes to Email Marketing you’re going to find that you have two choices, you can either rent a list, or you can begin building your own.
Pay per click advertising, such as, Google AdWords is a form of advertising were you only pay for advertising if people are actually interested in your ad, since you only pay if someone is interested enough to click on it! I am sure you have seen these types of advertisement before in search engines when you’ve done a search as they are usually at the top of the search results and also on the right hand side of the page. This form of advertising however requires a deep technical understanding to make it cost effective, otherwise, it will suck up your advertising dollars in no time!
